Over de functie
As a Marketing Assistant at Oriental Merchant Europe in Oss, you play a crucial role in both the sales and marketing teams. You support the shaping and execution of tactical marketing initiatives for both B2B and B2C. The work is dynamic and varied, from coordinating marketing campaigns to conducting market research.
- Assist and coordinate marketing campaigns: help with planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of marketing campaigns, both online and offline
- Collect and analyze data to understand market trends, customer behavior, and competitors
- Assist marketing professionals and the manager with sales reports and external correspondence
- Participate in the organization and attend trade shows, promotions, and consumer events on-site
- Monitor competitor activities, market developments, and store visits
- Support marketing budgets and prepare reports and presentations
- Involvement in the test kitchen for product and recipe testing
- Build and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
You work full-time from Monday to Friday in an office environment, with occasional presence at events outside office hours.
Wat wij vragen
- A completed MBO or HBO education, preferably in marketing or business management, or relevant work experience of 1-3 years
- Creative, precise, and self-driven with a hands-on mentality
- Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written
- Excellent communication skills in Chinese (Mandarin), both spoken and written
- A passion for food and cooking with an interest in Asian culture and cuisine is a plus
- Strong analytical skills and proficient in MS Office applications, especially Word and Excel
- Living within a 30 km radius of Oss and in possession of a valid work permit
- In possession of a driving license
