Over de functie
We are looking for a hardware engineer who will join our hardware development department for the design of automation, navigation and electrical propulsion products. You will be working together with the engineering, sales and production departments and report to the Manager Hardware Development

β’ HBO level education with specialty in electronics or electrical engineering
β’ Several years of relevant work experience
β’ Knowledge in the electrical field
β’ Interested in working with automation systems/electric propulsion
β’ Customer oriented attitude
β’ Good communications skills
β’ Independent, result-oriented, accurate and positive attitude β’ Preferable Full time available (40 hours/week) β’ European Residence permit β’ Good knowledge of English
β’ Knowledge of design tools (Schematic and PCB layout) β’ Experience in designing electronics
β’ Good analytical skills
β’ Teamwork and positive attitude

Your Responsibilities
β’ Designing new products
β’ Prototype testing new products
β’ Improvement/redesign existing products
β’ Implement type approval application procedures; testing and documentation of new products
β’ Support project engineering department on problems they run into during sea trials
β’ Maintain contact with suppliers to be informed about new parts/technologies
β’ Maintain contact with classification societies regarding the type approval of our products
β’ Making production manuals and test descriptions for the production and test department
β’ Making programs for SMD machines in our PCB assembly department
