About the function
As a Production Team Lead, you are the daily point of contact on the shop floor. You lead a team of operators and production workers within a dynamic production environment. Your goal: ensure that the production process runs smoothly and safely, and that the product quality is always excellent. You plan, coordinate, and motivate your team to achieve the set goals together. You spot bottlenecks and actively think about improvements. You are not afraid to address people, give feedback, and set a good example where needed. You work closely with the production manager and fellow team leads and communicate clearly about progress.
- Leading, coaching, and guiding your team
- Planning and organizing daily production
- Monitoring compliance with quality, safety, and order on the shop floor
- Identifying and resolving disruptions or bottlenecks in the process
- Conducting progress and assessment interviews
- Reporting to the production manager
This role is in a 3-shift system, so you and your team will rotate between morning, afternoon, and night shifts. Flexibility is expected during peak periods, and you work full-time (36–42 hours per week), usually on weekdays.
What we need
- At least mbo (secondary vocational) working and thinking level, preferably in technology or production
- At least 1 year of experience as a team lead, foreman, working foreman, or comparable role in production or industry
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Strong communication skills: you are comfortable addressing behavior and giving constructive feedback
- Strong organizational skills, able to plan and keep oversight
- You have an eye for quality and safety
- You are collegial, critical, and show initiative
