About the function
As a warehouse worker at Van Gelder Groente & Fruit in Ridderkerk, you'll be responsible for lifting boxes and placing them on pallets. You'll handle sharp objects like chopping knives and cutting machines with care. Additionally, you'll pack ready-made salads in appropriate packaging according to instructions and maintain cleanliness in the workplace and production area. You'll work full-time in an environment where the temperature is around 7°C. Working days are from Monday to Sunday with varying shifts, including evening and night work.
What we need
- Good communicative knowledge of English or Dutch
- Full-time availability
- Ability to work in low temperatures (around 7°C)
- Ability to follow occupational safety guidelines

What we offer
- A salary of € 14.40 gross per hour
- Allowances for evening and night shifts:
- Monday to Friday: 19:00-23:00 - 125% / 23:00-06:00 - 140%
- Saturday: 15:00-19:00 - 110% / 19:00-23:00 - 125% / 23:00-6:00 - 140%
- Sunday: 200%
- 8.33% holiday allowance
- Travel reimbursement of € 0.10/km starting from 10 km
- Weekly payouts
- Full-time job for a longer period
