About the function
As a Warehouse Worker at Van Gelder Fruit & Vegetables in Ridderkerk, you’ll be part of a dynamic, modern production environment. You make sure that fresh salads and vegetables are safely and neatly packed and prepared for delivery to customers across the Netherlands. You’ll work with the latest cutting and packing machines and, together with your team, keep everything running smoothly. The work atmosphere is energetic: everyone helps each other, and you achieve the best results together. Your workplace is the warehouse and production area, where the temperature is about 7°C – nice and cool!
- Lifting boxes of fresh products and stacking them on pallets
- Carefully working with sharp knives and cutting machines
- Packing salads and other products according to instructions
- Keeping the production area tidy and clean
- Checking the quality and freshness of products You work full-time, in shifts. Working hours are flexible: during the week, there are morning, afternoon, and night shifts, and weekend shifts are also available. You’ll receive attractive shift allowances for evening, night, and weekend work.
What we need
- Good communication skills in English or Dutch
- Full-time availability (38–45 hours per week)
- Willingness to work in low temperatures (around 7°C)
- Experience as a warehouse worker, logistics worker, or production worker is a plus
- You closely follow safety and hygiene instructions
- Living within 50 km of Ridderkerk

- A gross hourly wage of € 14.99, with surcharges up to 200% at night and on Sundays
- 8.33% holiday allowance
