About the function
As a Warehouse Employee at Van Gelder Fruit & Vegetables in Ridderkerk, you play a crucial role in the logistics process. You’ll work in a modern warehouse and, together with your colleagues, ensure that daily operations run smoothly. Your tasks include lifting and stacking boxes onto pallets, handling sharp objects like chopping knives and cutting machines with care, and carefully packing fresh salads according to instructions. You are also responsible for keeping your workplace and the production area clean. You’ll be working in a chilled environment of about 7°C, where hygiene and safety always come first. This is a full-time position in shifts, with a schedule that varies from Monday to Sunday and different working hours.
What we need
- You have communicative knowledge of Dutch or English
- You are available full-time and willing to work in shifts
- You can work in low temperatures (around 7°C)
- You are physically able to lift and stack boxes
- You strictly follow safety and hygiene guidelines
- Preferably, you have experience as a warehouse employee, logistics worker, or order picker
- You live within 50 km of Ridderkerk

- Salary of € 14.99 gross per hour with attractive shift allowances (up to 200% on Sundays)
