About the function
As a Shunter Chauffeur, you'll be at the heart of our logistics operations, ensuring the smooth and timely movement of containers and trailers. You'll navigate the day with precision, adhering to our top-tier safety standards while driving our state-of-the-art Terberg vehicle. Whether you're positioning containers accurately or transporting trailers efficiently, your role is vital in keeping our operations on track. Enjoy the buzz of our dynamic work environment and be part of a team that values precision and teamwork. We operate on a day-shift schedule and require flexibility to work any day of the week as needed.Your key responsibilities:Operate our modern Terberg vehicle with skill and safetyTransport containers and trailers punctually according to schedulePrecisely position containers and trailers at designated spotsAdhere to all safety procedures and regulations at all timesUtilize personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
What we need
- Valid driving license C/C+E and T
- Good knowledge of English language and/or Dutch
- Experience operating heavy vehicles and handling containers/trailers
- Knowledge of safety regulations and safe working practices
- Accuracy, responsibility, and reliability
- Ability to work according to schedules and cooperate in a team
- Basic knowledge of logistics systems (a plus)
