About the function

Our client develops and manufactures advanced composite structures for the aerospace sector. As a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer, you will play a key role in defining and optimizing quality processes so that all products meet customer expectations and international standards.

Tasks:

As part of a growing QA team, you will be involved in setting up and improving quality assurance processes across projects and the broader organization. Your main tasks include:

  • Developing and implementing QA plans that ensure compliance with customer and project requirements

  • Defining inspection steps and creating inspection plans

  • Ensuring quality across the supply chain and working closely with suppliers

  • Reviewing and writing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)

  • Leading root cause analyses and implementing corrective and preventive actions

  • Optimizing and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS)

  • Acting as a liaison between customers, suppliers, and internal teams regarding quality matters

  • Supporting internal and external audits in compliance with standards such as AS9100

What we need

We are looking for a strategic yet detail-oriented quality professional. Our ideal candidate has:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience

  • 3+ years of experience in quality assurance within manufacturing or engineering

  • Experience in aerospace or composite production is a strong advantage

  • Familiarity with audit processes (internal and external)

  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills

  • A process-driven mindset and knowledge of QA methodologies

  • Technical knowledge of inspection techniques and tools

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

  • Proficiency in English (Dutch is a plus)

  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles is a plus
