About the function
About the Role:
As a Mechanical Work Preparator, you will be responsible for planning and organizing technical maintenance work on vital systems. While your primary base is onshore, you should be open to occasional offshore visits when supporting complex projects or system upgrades.
The equipment you’ll be supporting includes:
• HVAC systems
• Well Head Control Panels
• Various process pumps (centrifugal, screw, diaphragm, etc.)
• Gas and diesel engines (generator units)
• Fire water systems including diesel-driven pumps
• Heat exchangers
• Reciprocating compressors
• Instrument air compressors
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and coordinate maintenance and modification tasks
• Create technical work packages using SAP
• Manage procurement of materials and spare parts
• Analyze technical failures and propose improvements
• Support contractors and ensure quality, safety, and compliance
• Coordinate smaller upgrade projects and reliability initiatives
• Monitor progress and ensure timely execution of planned work
What we need
Your Profile:
• Proven hands-on experience with at least 80% of the listed equipment
• Willing to go offshore occasionally
• Familiar with industries such as offshore, refining, chemicals, or maritime
• Proficient with SAP or similar maintenance systems
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Education:
Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or MBO Level 4 with relevant hands-on experience
