As a VAS Technician, you will be responsible for executing value-added services such as assembling, disassembling, configuring, and packaging products according to customer specifications. You will work closely with the Integration Team to ensure high-quality standards and efficient workflows in a technical logistics environment.
About the function
Are you looking for a new challenge in a high-tech and dynamic environment? As a VAS Technician at DHL Supply Chain, you will play a crucial role in the assembly, disassembly, and packing of network equipment according to specific customer instructions. Working closely with the Integration Technician and a dedicated team of professionals, you’ll be at the heart of technical operations that support advanced network infrastructure projects.
You will be responsible for setting up network devices, identifying and reporting technical issues, and ensuring that all customer packing requirements are met with precision. This is a hands-on role with ample opportunity to develop technical skills and grow within a fast-paced logistics and technology setting.
What we need
We are looking for a motivated technician with a keen interest in telecommunications and electronics. The ideal candidate has:
A completed MBO 4 (secondary vocational education) in a technical field, preferably in electronics or fiber optic technology;
Basic knowledge of telecommunications or electrical installations;
Good communication skills, with at least B2 level English;
A flexible and proactive attitude with a drive to learn;
Experience in logistics is a plus, but not required.
What we offer
A full-time role in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same;
Competitive gross monthly salary (scale 7): from €2,594.82 to €3,222.96, with growth potential up to €3,852.25 depending on experience;
Day shifts between 6:00 and 18:00 during the ramp-up phase; moving to two shifts (06:00–15:00 and 13:00–22:00) with 130% shift allowance after 18:00;
8% holiday pay and 25 vacation days;
A flexible "a la carte" budget for additional vacation days or monthly bonuses;
