Are you customer-focused, energetic and looking for a varied job? As a sales associate at our gas station in Veenendaal, you are the first point of contact for our customers. Whether they stop by for fuel, a hot coffee or a tasty snack, you make sure they leave with a smile. Good work!
About the function
In this role, you are the face of the station. You assist customers at the register with their fuel payments and purchases. You also serve fresh coffee, drinks and snacks. Additionally, you help restock the store and ensure it stays clean and organized. Together with your colleagues, you keep the restrooms and outdoor area neat. No day is the same. You meet many different people and contribute to a smooth-running shop.
Your tasks include:
- Helping customers at the register and in the shop
- Preparing and serving coffee, cold drinks and snacks
- Restocking shelves and checking product freshness
- Cleaning the store, restrooms and forecourt
- Working closely with your team to keep operations running smoothly
What we need
You’re available for at least 20 hours per week, including weekdays and weekends
You're willing to work extra hours during holidays or when colleagues are out sick
You have a customer-oriented attitude and enjoy working in a team
You're hands-on and not afraid to go the extra mile when needed
What we offer
A gross hourly wage starting at €14.18 (age 21 and up), excluding holiday pay and bonuses
8% holiday pay, 25 vacation days, and a pension plan
Travel allowance
Various (mandatory) training courses on sales, food safety, and product knowledge
