About the function
As an Operations Specialist, you ensure that customer orders are processed correctly, efficiently, and in accordance with the applicable quality standards. You work closely with your team and provide support wherever needed to ensure that daily operations run smoothly.
Your responsibilities:
Packing and repacking seeds, both mechanically and manually.
Setting up, adjusting, converting, and cleaning packaging machines and other equipment.
Performing physical and visual quality checks in accordance with the four-eyes principle.
Transferring seeds between containers, unpacking, and processing seeds.
Collecting and moving orders according to picking lists and completing the related administrative tasks.
Preparing, carrying out, and completing production orders in accordance with established procedures.
Identifying and reporting deviations relating to quality, machinery, and work areas.
Contributing ideas for process improvements and promoting effective teamwork.
Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised workplace.
Providing flexible support to other teams whenever necessary.
What we need
Experience in seed pelleting and seed treatment is required.
MBO-level education or equivalent working and thinking ability.
Good spoken and written Dutch skills.
Accurate, structured, and quality-oriented working approach.
Strong teamwork skills and a results-oriented mindset.
Proactive and solution-oriented attitude.
Eagerness to learn and willingness to master new processes and working methods.
Flexibility and willingness to support other teams.
Ability to take responsibility for your work and actively contribute ideas for improvement.
Ability to work in accordance with applicable safety and quality regulations.
What we offer
A gross hourly wage between €17.50 and €19.00, depending on your experience and suitability.
