As a Pollinator at Rijk Zwaan in Poeldijk, you will play an important role in helping our plants grow. You will carefully move pollen from one flower to another to help make strong and healthy fruits, vegetables, and flowers. Join our greenhouse team and be part of something green and growing! About the function
As a Pollinator, you will work together with a team to help plants grow and make seeds in a modern greenhouse. You will work with care and precision to help produce strong, healthy plants and high-quality seeds. Your main tasks include:
Pollination of plants, including emasculation (removal of flower stamens)
Germinating flowers using a tablet
Harvesting and performing quality checks on seeds of tomatoes, cucumbers, and peppers
General greenhouse work (light tasks, no heavy lifting)
You will work from Monday to Saturday, starting at 06:00 and finishing around 16:00. Because plants grow naturally and sometimes need extra care, overtime may be needed.
What we need
Experience with pollination or working in a greenhouse with vegetables or flowers is a plus – but not required!
Able to communicate in Polish with English, or speak English or Dutch at a basic communicative level
Willingness and ability to learn pollination techniques with care and precision

What we offer
- Salary of €15.72 gross per hour
- Bonus on weekends from 60% extra on Saturday and double pay on Sunday!
- Extra bonus to compensate when you work over time of 40%!
- Transport allowance: €0.23 per kilometer
- Holiday allowance of 8.33%
- Stable full-time job in a modern and friendly greenhouse
- Work clothes are provided!
