About the function
You will work under direct supervision and follow daily instructions, with the flexibility to perform a variety of tasks, crops, and assignments across different locations depending on the need.
Responsibilities:
- Emasculation, pollination/crossing of plants, sampling, seed counting and weighing, sowing, transplanting, marker picking, harvesting, seed extraction and handling
- Performing all tasks with focus, accuracy, and precision
- Maintaining clear data records and performing quality checks
- Working neatly and keeping the workspace clean
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday, occasionally Saturday: 7:30 – 16:00
What we need
- Experience and passion for pollination, especially with tomatoes
- Able to communicate in English or Dutch
- Own transport and accommodation near Rotterdam/Bergschenhoek
- Weekend availability
What we offer
- Gross hourly wage €16.07
- Travel allowance: €0.23 per km
