We are looking for an Operator Machining for a full-time position in Venlo, working in a 3-shift system. You will machine aluminium profiles using pre-set turning and/or milling machines, both in series production and for individual products. Salary €2954 – €3877 gross per month (depending on experience and skill level), plus 8% holiday allowance.
About the function
We are looking for an Operator Machining to join the Machining department and machine aluminium profiles using pre-set turning and/or milling machines.
This is a hands-on production position where you will work with both series production and individual products. Do you have an eye for accuracy and quality, and are you comfortable working in shifts? Then this position is a great fit for you.
What will you do?
- Read work instructions and technical drawings
- Check aluminium profiles for quantity, dimensions and visible damage
- Operate turning and/or milling machines
- Position products and clamps correctly in the machine
- Monitor the machining process and product quality
- Measure products with tools such as calipers, measuring tape and squares
- Perform first-product and sample inspections
- Register completed production orders and cycle times
- Solve minor machine issues where possible
- Perform basic machine maintenance and cleaning
- Report technical or quality deviations to the Team Leader
What we need
- Technical or machining experience is preferred
- Basic knowledge of measuring instruments
- Able to read technical drawings at VMBO level
- Accurate and quality-focused
- Comfortable working in a 3-shift system
- Dutch or English language knowledge
- BO/VMBO working and thinking level
