For our client in Bleiswijk, we are looking for motivated and enthusiastic employees who are looking for a long-term job.
About the function
As a greenhouse worker, you are responsible for the care of plants. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Substrate preparation: preparing and replenishing the substrate for growing flowers.
- Operation of irrigation systems: monitoring and operating irrigation systems inside and outside the greenhouse.
- Plant care: pruning, fertilizing and protecting plants from pests.
- Collecting flowers and preparing them for shipment to flower exchanges.
- Maintaining order: Keeping the workplace clean and orderly.
You will work from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
What we need
- You are available for an extended period of time
- You have your own accommodation, and transportation to work
- You are in good physical condition
- You are able to work as part of a team
- Experience working with plants will be an asset, but is not essential
What we offer
- Gross hourly rate of €14.06 per hour + bonuses
- More than 38 hours worked - 135%
- Weekly payments
- Reimbursement of commuting expenses over 10 km / € 0.23
- 8.33% vacation allowance
- Allowances for overtime and weekend work
About the company
The company is located in Bleiswijk. It has two locations there. It specializes in growing flowers (hydrangeas) and supplying them to exchanges. The work takes place in the greenhouse and also outdoors and mainly consists of preparing the substrate and irrigation system for the flowers.
