At Service & Repair in Geldermalsen, we're looking for a practical, hands-on person to join our team as a Repair Technician. You’ll be responsible for bringing damaged shopping carts back to life—by replacing wheels, fixing parts, and keeping them in top condition. No experience? No problem. If you're handy and eager to learn, we’ll teach you everything you need to know. Good work !
About the function
As a Repair Technician, you’ll work in our warehouse with a small and supportive team. Your tasks include:
Diagnosing issues with metal shopping carts (loose wheels, bent frames, broken straps)
Replacing parts, like wheels, axles, and securing straps
Using basic tools (wrenches, drills, pliers, etc.) for mechanical fixes
Carrying out light welding or technical repairs (we’ll train you if needed)
Keeping your workspace clean and tools in order
Working hours: Monday–Friday, 06:30–15:30
What we need
You’re practical and like working with your hands
You have Your own accommodation and transport
You can work independently, but also enjoy being part of a team
You’re physically fit—you’ll be moving, lifting, and standing a lot
You speak basic Dutch or English
Experience is not required
We’ll teach you everything you need. The most important thing is a good attitude and a willingness to learn.

Starting wage of €14.40/hour (gross)
