Lead and inspire a warehouse team as a Team Leader VAS at Nedcargo. In this dynamic role, you’ll drive team performance, optimize processes, and contribute to continuous improvement within a fast-paced logistics environment. About the function
As a Team Leader VAS, you are responsible for leading a team of warehouse/production employees. Your main focus is improving team performance and optimizing processes on a daily basis.
The role is primarily in day shift (07:30 – 16:30), with flexibility required depending on operational needs.
- Coaching, motivating, and guiding your team (LEAN focus)
- Coordinating daily warehouse and production activities
- Monitoring performance and taking action when needed
- Planning workforce capacity effectively
- Managing internal logistics using WMS systems
- Solving operational issues on the floor
- Ensuring team members are multi-skilled
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives
- Leading daily stand-up meetings
- Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards (RI&E, HACCP, BRC)
- Acting as part of the BHV (emergency response) structure
What we need
- MBO+/HBO working and thinking level
- Experience in a leadership role (warehouse/production)
- Experience with WMS systems
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Solution-oriented and results-driven mindset
- LEAN experience is a plus
- Affinity with machines (setup/adjustment)
- Good computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Able to energize and motivate people
- Strong communicator
- Keeps overview in a dynamic environment
