Join Mifa in Venlo as a Packing Operator in the Logistics department and make sure every finished product leaves the factory perfectly packed. Full-time day shift position with a salary of €2800 – €3500 gross per month (depending on experience and skill level), plus 8% holiday allowance.
About the function
For Mifa in Venlo, we are looking for a Packing Operator to join the Logistics department.
As a Packing Operator, you are responsible for correctly packing finished products, ranging from shorter products packed in boxes or on pallets to longer profiles requiring custom packaging. You work independently in day shift and play an important role in delivering products to customers in perfect condition.
Your responsibilities include:
- Reading work orders and packaging instructions
- Counting products and registering quantities, dimensions and weight in the ERP system
- Packing products according to instructions
- Preparing pallets for internal transport
- Determining the correct packaging method for longer products
- Setting up packaging equipment according to instructions or technical drawings
- Visually inspecting products for damage or deviations
- Registering completed orders in the system
- Working with a pallet lifter
- Solving minor machine malfunctions where possible
- Keeping tools and the workplace clean and safe
What we need
- Experience in packing, logistics or production is preferred
- Basic knowledge of ERP systems
- Accurate and quality-focused
- Able to perform physical production work
- Comfortable working independently
- VMBO working and thinking level
