About the function
You play a key role in the logistics process at Hoogvliet. As an orderpicker, you’ll collect orders using a voice-picking system and an electric pallet truck (EPT) from various warehouse departments. You’ll work with chilled, frozen, and ambient products. In the modern distribution center, speed, accuracy, and teamwork are essential. Your work is physically active and similar to other logistics jobs in large supermarket distribution centers.

You’ll work in two shifts: Day shift: 06:00 – 14:00 Night shift: 20:00 – 04:00 We are looking for candidates who are willing to work both shifts and are physically fit.

What we offer
• Gross starting wage: € 16.20 per hour, including € 1.21 ADV allowance • Evening shift bonus (20:00 – 22:00): 25% extra, € 17.99 per hour • Night shift bonus (22:00 – 06:00): 50% extra, € 22.49 per hour • Overtime bonus (over 40 hours): 35% extra, € 20.24 per hour • Saturday bonus: 30% extra, € 19.49 per hour • Sunday bonus: 50% extra, € 22.49 per hour • Public holiday bonus: 100% extra, € 29.98 per hour • 8.33% holiday pay and 25 paid vacation days per year • Pension plan through the company • Growth opportunities and a chance to earn a reach truck certificate • Company housing and free transport possible • Work clothing, safety shoes, and a personal locker
