About the function
As an order picker Deepfreeze, you and your colleagues ensure that all Lidl stores receive the right products on time every day. You will work in a modern distribution centre and play an important role in the logistics process.
What will you do:
- Collect orders using a voice picking system (headset)
- Operate an electric pallet truck (EPT)
- Build and stack pallets correctly
- Ensure fast and efficient order processing
You will work in a freezer environment of around -25°C. For this, you will receive extra allowances. The job is physically active and requires working at a good pace.
Structured breaks during your shift (approximately every 2 hours: 15 minutes, 30 minutes and 15 minutes), allowing you to recover while working in the cold environment.
Working hours
- Day shifts between approximately 06:30/07:30 and 15:30/16:30
- Full-time position (38–40 hours per week)
- Regular work on Saturdays and occasional Sundays or public holidays
What we need
- You are motivated and physically fit
- Experience as an order picker is a plus
- You are willing to work in a cold environment (-25°C)
- You speak English or Dutch
- You have your own transport and accommodation
- You are available for a longer period
