About the function
At DHL Freight, forklift drivers play a crucial role in our warehouse success. You’re not just moving goods—you’re making sure operations run safely, smoothly, and on time. In our Eindhoven location, you’ll be a key part of a logistics chain that keeps Europe moving. As a forklift operator, we count on you to not only execute tasks but to think ahead, assess what’s needed, and make smart decisions on the spot. Independence, accuracy, and awareness are just as important as driving skills.
As a forklift operator, your daily responsibilities will include:
- Safely loading and unloading trucks using a forklift
- Sorting, scanning, and placing incoming and outgoing shipments in the correct areas
- Managing irregular goods (e.g., damaged packaging, unclear labels, undeliverable or outdated items)
- Keeping your workspace clean and following safety rules at all times
DHL Freight Eindhoven operates seven days a week, offering flexibility to work on weekdays or weekends. Shift schedules—ranging from two to three shifts —are determined based on operational demand therefore full availability in a shift-based system is required.
Two-shift system:
- 07:30 – 16:00
- 16:00 – 00:30
Three-shift system:
- 07:30 – 16:00
- 16:00 – 00:30
- 23:00 – 07:30
What we need
- A valid forklift certificate and relevant work experience
- Good communication in English or Dutch
- Physically fit and able to handle heavier tasks
- Willingness to work full-time in rotating shifts
- A proactive attitude and team-first mindset

- Hourly wage of €14.48
- 30% bonus for hours worked after 18:00
- Weekend bonuses up to 200%
- Travel reimbursement up to €0.23/km (max 22 km)
