About the function
As Supervisor Fresh Fish Department in Katwijk, you are the key player on the department floor. You’ll work in the heart of production, taking charge of the team and making sure all processes around fresh fish run smoothly. You’ll distribute the work, ensure everything is done according to quality and hygiene standards, and monitor product quality. You’ll also keep an eye on inventory and make sure all orders are processed and shipped correctly and on time. You’ll actively work alongside your team, support colleagues when needed, and always keep an overview of daily operations. The work floor is cool, but the atmosphere is friendly and supportive. You’ll work Monday through Friday, from 07:00 to 15:30.
What we need
- MBO level of working and thinking
- At least 1 year of experience as a supervisor or in a similar role such as production team leader, supervisor, or foreman
- Experience in the food industry is a plus
- Good command of Dutch or English
- Able to organize well and lead team members in a positive way
- Comfortable working in a cold environment
- Flexible, responsible, and independent
