As a Sharpening Operator, you are the sharpest link in our process – both literally and figuratively. By keeping blades and machines in top condition through maintenance, replacements, and expert advice, you ensure the continuity and safety of our production. Your technical expertise and team spirit keep everything running smoothly – day after day. Good work!
About the function
It is thanks to you that our knives, machines, and cutting equipment run like clockwork. You ensure continuity, safety, and efficiency in production, while the flexible hours in a four-shift system allow you to balance your professional passion with your private life. Every day is different – and full of challenges!
On a daily basis, your responsibilities include:
- Replacing blades, gears, belts, and bearings
- Inspecting the technical condition of machines and tools
- Advising on maintenance and repairs
- Finding solutions and cooperating with relevant departments
Our warehouses operate 24/7, so the working hours are as follows:
- 05:45 AM – 2:30 PM
- 1:45 PM – 10:30 PM
- 9:45 PM – 6:30 AM
- Sunday night shift: 6:00 PM – 2:45 AM (other nights: from 9:45 PM)
What we need
- You have technical insight, experience and think at an MBO level
- You’re flexible — shifts, a cool working environment, and diverse tasks are no problem for you
- You can work well under pressure and always keep your goals in sight
- You communicate confidently in English or Dutch
- You have your own transportation — punctuality is in your DNA
What we offer
- Salary of €2,528.31 gross/month for full-time (40 hours/week)
- +25% bonus after 7:00 PM, +40% after 11:00 PM – we value evening and night work
- Flexible three-shift system – tailored to your rhythm
- Commuting cost reimbursement – up to 30 km
