About the function
As a greenhouse worker, you are responsible for the care of plants. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Preparing the soil: Getting the soil ready and adding more when needed to grow flowers.
- Using the watering system: Checking and using the system that gives water to the plants inside and outside the greenhouse.
- Taking care of plants: Cutting old parts of the plants, giving them food (fertilizer), and keeping them safe from insects.
- Picking flowers and packing them: Collecting flowers and getting them ready to send to flower markets.
- Keeping things clean: Making sure the work area is clean and tidy.
You will work from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
What we need
- Can communicate in Dutch, English or Polish
- You have your own accommodation
- Own transport to work or possibility of taking on a Carriere car
- Experience working with plants is a plus!

What we offer
- Gross hourly rate of €14.40 per hour + bonuses
- Overtime bonus of 35% per hour
- Weekly payments
- Reimbursement of commuting expenses over 10 km / € 0.23

About the company
The company is located in Bleiswijk. It has two locations there. It specializes in growing flowers (hydrangeas) and supplying them to exchanges. The work takes place in the greenhouse and also outdoors and mainly consists of preparing the substrate and irrigation system for the flowers.
