About the function
As a Reach Truck Operator at Geodis, you will be responsible for moving products and pallets with a reach truck. Additionally, you’ll perform manual order-picking tasks using a scanner. You play a crucial role in our logistics process, ensuring goods are handled safely and efficiently. Every day, you work with colleagues to keep everything on schedule and running smoothly.
Do you have a valid reach truck certificate and experience in reach truck operations? Great! If your certificate has expired, don’t worry – we offer you the opportunity to renew it at no cost!
Responsibilities
- Moving products and pallets with a reach truck.
- Performing order-picking tasks using scanners.
- Ensuring a safe work environment.
- Supporting colleagues in the logistics process.
- Complying with safety guidelines and procedures.
Working Hours
- 40 hours per week during the day shift.
- Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30/5:00 p.m.
- Opportunity for overtime.
What we need
- A valid reach truck certificate and experience with reach truck operations. If your certificate has expired, we offer free refresher training.
- Physically fit for repetitive tasks.
- Proficiency in Dutch or English at a minimum B1 level.
- Good safety awareness and accuracy in work.
