Do you enjoy working with your hands and want to learn a skilled trade? Follow a paid training program to become a flooring installer with a global leader in carpet and PVC floors!
About the function
You will start as an experienced or trainee floor layer (installer). During your work, you will be guided by an experienced mentor who will share their expertise with you step by step.
If the initial period goes well, you will have the opportunity to attend a professional training program in France alongside a group of colleagues. This one-week program is fully organized and paid for by our client.
After completing the training, you will continue working as a skilled professional with one of our partner subcontractors, active throughout the Netherlands. There are opportunities for motivated tradespeople in almost every province. You will be assigned an employer before starting the training.
What you will do
Install floors for a variety of clients, including hospitals, care facilities, and private homes.
Learn all the tricks of the trade during an intensive training in France.
Work with precision, craftsmanship, and attention to detail.
Because much of the work is performed on your knees, a good physical condition is important.
What we need
You speak and read Dutch and/or English
You hold a valid driver’s license B
You have your own accommodation
You are willing to follow a learning-on-the-job program
You understand that the work is physically demanding
You are willing, if needed, to attend a one-week training in France after a certain period
You are a team player
What we offer
Competitive salary from €16.31 to €21.01 gross per hour (CAO Afbouw, excluding allowances, travel costs, and vacation accrual)
Paid on-the-job training and one-week training in France
Company car if needed
Long-term contract with the client after 1 year
Travel expenses
