The journey to good work: from Kraków to Rotterdam

From flex worker to recruiter
In Poland, Klaudia had mostly worked side jobs, primarily as a waitress in Kraków. When she came to the Netherlands, she started as a production worker in a greenhouse. A fun job, but she quickly knew she wanted more. She decided to follow her ambition and enrolled in a bachelor's degree in Business Management in Poland. At the same time, she spent her weekends learning Dutch. After two years of hard work and studying, she applied for a recruiter position at Carrière.

Growth to advisor and data analyst
After a year, she realized that she wanted to move further in a direction that aligned with her studies. She discussed this with her manager and got the opportunity to advance to the role of advisor in the Business Operations department. This role brought a significant challenge: moving from doing interviews as a recruiter all day to a position focused on legislation, payroll processing, and invoicing. As she says herself: "Every step I took brought me closer to my goal. Perseverance, eagerness to learn, and the right opportunities helped me master the role within two years."

Her success in the Business Operations department strengthened her interest in numbers and data. She decided to take the next step and became a data analyst in the Data department. In her current role, she continues to develop her analytical skills and contributes to the growth of the organization. "I once started with a temporary job, but I knew I wanted more. The combination of hard work and the right opportunities is what broad me here, and that is how I built my career at Carrière," says Klaudia.
